The leaves of Tulsiare having great potential for overall well being of the personal.In Ayurvedathe leaves are considered as nerve tonic, febrifuge,anti-bronchitis, anti-asthmatic, anti-viral,anti-tussive, immunomodulator, etc. The Amla is mentioned in the text of Ayurveda(Indian traditional system of medicine) as Amritphal which contains all five rasas. In Ayurveda the fruit is considered to balance all �tridoshas� and recommended as rejuvenator, blood purifier, liver and kidneyfunction enhancer. The fruit is considered as rich source of Vit C and polyphenols, natural immunity booster lipid lowering and anti-atherosclerosis agent. Tulsi in combination with Amla consider equal to Sanjeevani in Ayurveda. Direction of use: Take about 3 g of Amla tea sample in 150 mL of water boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Filter it and add sugar as per the taste. Caution: Do not consume before bed as it may cause disturbed stomach. Pregnant and lactating mothers and should not consume. Avoid in case of diarrhea. Contraindications: Consume only after consultation with health care professional if already taking iron supplements,antidiabetic, antihypertensive, lipid lowering and other related medications.
